and so life begins on the other side of the road. i made it to london in one piece! after leaving vancouver at 9am and waiting in ottawa for 6 hours for my departure, i was anxious to get going! but such was not the case, our flight was delayed for nearly 3 hours! i got to know the airport staff really well. i made a new friend, nicki, from sweden and now i have someone to visit there. we didn't end up leaving until almost 1am ontario time and arrived in london @ 12:15pm! i had the worst time with my bags...picture me: a foreigner, half asleep, not knowing where i'm going, trying to get 2 HUGE bags up and down nearly 30 flights of stairs to get to and from the tube stations! my friend ben was going to pick me up on his lunch break, but since i was late, he couldn't swing it. but he is going to meet me around 5 to take me back to his flat, as he has graciously offered to let me stay with him for the night. on top of that, he said i could leave my bigger bag at his for the time that i am in europe! yay! i can't wait to see him!

other than the day i got the cast taken of my leg, i don't think i've ever been so excited to take a shower...until next time~~~

i'm still tired, but i am on my way!!! i am in the ottawa airport and have been for nearly 6 hours!! my flight to london doesn't leave for about another hour. i am SO excited!! i found this internet thingy here at the terminal and it's pretty sweet, except the keys are kinda funny so i can't type that fast. i think they did it on purpose so you end up needing to pay more money to finish writing your emails etc. i hope everyone is doing well and not missing me too much yet! this is ridiculous, i've already put over 2 bucks in and i only have one minute left....i guess i should get going and email this website to y'all, be sure to email me and keep me up to speed on life back home...peace out
